About InnerOS
InnerOS is an IFS parts app. You write what is on your mind, and your parts answer, one at a time. It was built by Pawan Burnwal, who needed it first.
Part of you wants one thing. Part of you wants another. We made this for that moment.
Why we made it
You know the feeling when one part of you says stay, and another says go. Another part is just tired.
That is not a flaw. It is a group of parts, and each one is trying to help. They get loud because no one is listening.
Most apps ask you to calm down. InnerOS asks a different question. What is each part trying to say? You write what is on your mind. The parts answer. Then you can choose your next small step.
We do not want to keep you here. We want you to hear yourself, and then get back to your life.
What is inside
A few simple things, and you pick what you need.
- Inner Council. Your parts talk, one at a time, in their own voices.
- Journal. Write it out, and your parts answer what you wrote.
- Patterns. The app remembers your words so you can see what keeps coming back.
- Breathe. Short exercises for when you need to settle your body first.
- One next step. A session can end with one small thing to do. Not a life plan.
- Weekly letter. A short look back at your week.
Parts speak as "I" and "we". They use your own words and history, so you are hearing yourself, not a script.

Our mission
Democratize inner clarity.
Make the tools of self-understanding available to everyone, not just those who can afford years of therapy.
Our vision
8 billion people with a clear relationship with their inner world.
Everyone deserves to understand themselves. We're building the tool that makes that possible, for anyone, anywhere.
What we believe
Your parts are not problems. Every part has a reason, and listening is the start.
Your words are yours. We do not sell your data, and you can delete your account and your data. Your journal is encrypted with a key that belongs to you alone (AES-256). The keys are kept on our servers, so it is not end-to-end encrypted.
Meet the founder

Pawan Burnwal, founder. Former software engineer at Amazon and Microsoft.
"Who am I?" That question followed me for years. Through childhood, through IIITA, through seven years at Amazon and Microsoft. I thought the answer would come from achieving.
Then came a divorce, burnout, and a crisis that left me unable to recognise my own reflection. I saw I had been asking the wrong question. There was no single "I" to find.
Vipassana, yoga and psychology showed me something. I was not one voice trying to be clear. I was many voices, all talking at once, and no one was listening to them.
I built InnerOS because I needed a place where my parts could talk to each other. I built it for myself first.
My hope is simple. Life will still have ups and downs. But you may find you meet them with more of yourself on your side.
Here is how my own parts talked about telling this story.
I sat with the weight of my own story. I knew it needed telling, and I was not sure how. So I let my parts talk.
Achiever: I want to lead with what I built. Seven years at Amazon and Microsoft show I can make real things.
Wounded Healer: I understand why. But I think we hide behind that list because we are still afraid of the breakdown. The real story is that all the achieving did not answer the question.
Sage: The breakdown was not the insight. It was the moment I finally listened. The real discovery was that many voices lived inside, and no one was hosting them.
Creator: What I want people to see is that we were never broken. We were many parts with no way to work together.
Wounded Healer: Then we say it plainly. The app was built for me first. That is not weakness. I needed it so much that I spent months building it, just to have one good talk with myself.
This is not a hero story. It is a story of finding out I was always many, and learning to listen.
