Sage vs Warrior

The Sage and the Warrior are two of the ten archetypes in InnerOS. The Sage wants to understand before acting. The Warrior wants to protect what matters. They are not two kinds of people. They are two parts of you, and both are always there.

When Sage and Warrior pull apart

The Warrior wants to act. The Sage wants to think first. When something feels like a threat, the Warrior says, "We move now." The Sage says, "Let us look closer." To the Warrior, the Sage looks frozen. To the Sage, the Warrior looks rash.

How they help each other

Together they make steady courage: you act firmly, and you act on the right thing. The Warrior brings the will. The Sage points it at the right target.

One small thing to try

Before you act, let the Sage speak. Before you think for too long, let the Warrior set a deadline. Each one needs the other.

Hear them for yourself

In InnerOS you write what is on your mind, and your parts answer, one at a time. Any of the ten can speak. The free quiz takes about three minutes and shows which part is loudest right now. When you want to talk with them, InnerOS is free to try for 14 days.
